• Info: Sibelius wrote lots of piano music and, sadly, hardly any professional pianists pay any attention to it today. The piece I am presenting here, the Andantino from opus 24, hit me hard when I came across it this past summer: it is a work of absolutely intense emotion, and it is unfathomable that it is not well-known across the world. It has probably been the most gratifying work I have ever learned. I hope my playing manages to stir at least some of this emotion in you.
