Info: I don't think Pleyel has appeared in the recitals before and most people probably think of the brand of piano before the composer himself. I considered that enough to fit his piece in as rare. Whether the piece is a gem or not, I'll let you decide. It should be allegro, but I couldn't get it up to speed on time without sacrificing accuracy. This sonatina is undoubtedly not Pleyel's finest piano music but it was one that I could attempt at my skill level. For those unfamiliar with his work, I would encourage you to listen. Mozart certainly admired him, saying, "Pleyel should replace Haydn for us."
