Info: Set 2 is comprised of two pieces: "Where one can hear an old music box", and "Romantic Waltz". The first of these is often played by itself as a charming encore piece; it was one of de Severac's best known pieces during his lifetime. "Romantic Waltz" has, in the context of the suite, a bittersweet quality -- it is, I believe, the depiction of the girl now a woman, dancing at some type of ball several years later. Rather similar to Wendy in the last scene of "Peter Pan".
