• Info: Mompou prepared Cancion-Danza diptychs throughout his life - 14 in all; 13 for piano and 1 for guitar. The Cancion is typically an arrangement of a Spanish folk song, and the Danza that of a typical Spanish rhythm. They are ALL worthwhile, but I think that #7, composed in 1945, is the most beautiful.
