• Info: Gluckes genug (no. 5) took the bulk of my practice time of these three and it's still not quite up to tempo. I'm slightly sick of it now to be honest. Wichtige begebenheit (no. 6) was by far the easiest of them needing relatively little practice. I had been playing it with pedal until yesterday when I realised that it's supposed to be played without :) I think it sounds better without. Traumerei was tricky mainly because of my blockhead memory. Even after 3 months I still need to have the music for some parts. It's a more difficult piece generally than I thought it would be, requirling quite a bit of subtlety of touch. I might put Kinderscenen on the back burner for a while. The second half of the cycle is tougher I think. As always thanks for listening. Participating in these recitals gives me an incentive to improve that I otherwise would not have.
