• Info: Steve Chandler is an amateur composer who has shared his compositions on Piano World over the years. He calls his harmonic approach "pantonality", and to my ear, anyway, it has a craggy Americana quality that I find quite unique and attractive. I didn't ask him what he meant by "wobbly", but to me his melodic line does in fact "careen" from key to key through a series of augmented and suspended progressions. A fascinating piece; tough to read -- so many unexpected chordal shifts.
