• Info: I balladetone (Ballad) was love at first sight for me! I was strongly motivated by the calm, emotive mood of the piece. It was definitely a rewarding but painful experience for me to learn it! First couple of measures are easy to read and fun to play. BUT after that I was really disappointed seeing those left-hand chords (triads, followed by right-hand triads) which need huge stretching (for me, of course, I can barely reach a 9th note). So I had to redistribute notes and ended up with lots of right-hand tetrads (with just octaves in left hand lol)! This caused me a lot of troubles in controlling the overall voicing and dynamics. Anyway, I'm glad that I could get at least something accepting all of my limitations and pathetic fingerings!
