• Info: Loved this piece since I first heard it. It was Schummnabs wifes favourite, she had it played as she was dying. Nice . . . now this took months to enable me to handle just the first few bars. Like, to get my heads round three staves. I rewrote it into two, whereupon I realized it was easier to play the three . . .which is why it was thus written. Anyway, there are the usual mistakes etc, but I liked the peaceful sound of pianoteq, after much fiddling to get it to resemble a gloomy acoustic a la Moonlight Sonata. The vid was a Creative Commons, and depicts the country lanes around Coniston which I rode round on my bike hundreds of times. And I fed the ducks, but possibly not those in evidence here!
