• Info: I didn't manage to get a 100% clean take like I wanted. Also no video this time unfortunately. This is a piece where I am always dissatisfied with my interpretation, despite not being too technically difficult. I still feel I've rushed too much/not enough in certain sections and do not bring out as much colour as the piece should have. I would like there to be more flow and ebb, as well as a greater contrast in sound. However, part of the reason could be because I had to normalize between the loud and soft slightly to have a louder sound in general in the recording. I will be bringing it to a Debussy masterclass series this summer to see how I can improve on it. I had sushi for lunch! It was fantastic :D
