Recording Method: P-105 Line-Out to Behringer UCG102 Line-In.
Reaper to record the sound.
At first I tried using Imperfect Samples Fazioli Grand Complete version, but I was only reaching 3 levels of dynamics with it. Maybe when I buy a better piano I'll enjoy the full dynamics range that Fazioli Complete offers (14 layers).
Info: The Liebestraume (Love Dreams) are 3 Lieder-Nocturnes wrote by Liszt and was inspired on german poems about 3 kinds of love - the Exalted Love (No.1); the Little Death (No.2); and finally the Unconditional Love (No.3).
When playing these scores the musician need to realise a soprano singing the melody and an orchestra doing the accompaniment. It's very hard to do - I personally am not imagining this very well yet -, but when achieved, it opens a new wide vision of these magnificent music made by Liszt.
I think there's musically a straight line between Liebestraum No.1 and No.3, as if one was an introduction to the other. I was inspired by John Ogdon, who recorded the exact same pieces in 1969.
About my performance, I made a some mistakes especially at Liebstraum no.3, but it was the best I could do after several takes.
Well, that's all. I hope you enjoy and long live to the ABF Recital!
