• Info: I first listened to this piece in "The Gift of Music", a documentary featuring Evgeny Kissin, and his concert in the BBC Proms. This piece was played as one of the last encores. It has captivated me ever since. I started working on this piece a couple of months back, but gave it full attention only since last week. At first, it seemed to be a pretty easy piece, since the notes are not too hard to learn. As I kept playing, I realized that playing the rhythm, dynamics and rubato the way I want it to sound was really hard. I haven't finished polishing this piece yet. It's Still a WIP. I expect to take at least a few more weeks to play it to full satisfaction. Especially pedalling needs to be refined, I think. I would appreciate critique/ feedback on how to improve. This was recorded on first take with no editing. I probably could have gotten a better recording in a couple more takes, but this is what I'm going with.
